Your break-up, no matter what the circumstances, is likely to have been one of the most difficult, draining and demanding times in your life. It's been essential for you to take time to grieve and heal – and you still have a business to run which is suffering. |
Having been through not one, but two traumatic separations, (one without and one with children), I totally understand what you have been through.
However, as a business owner, you are now in an unusually powerful position to make significant choices that could change your life – if you choose to do that. And I understand that you may not yet find it easy to see how this can be done.
Over the years I have become a master at re-inventing myself and adapting to new and challenging situations that life has served up for me (to find out more go to Who IS Wilma).
I was 45 when I left the children's father. I had no qualifications and hadn't 'worked' for 20 years. I knew that being financially independent was one of the most significant ways of taking control of my life. I knew I had to generate income somehow and dreaded the thought of working for anyone else – assuming they would have me. Besides which, I was determined not to be an employee - you don't get to choose your income by working for others. I had no idea how I was going to do this. By this time, though, I believed enough in myself to know that I could do it, somehow. After a couple of hard-learned lessons I was in a position to set-up Coaching Inside Out.
As a solo parent, I also really appreciate how tough it can be to get the balance right when you're running your own business and juggling family commitments alongside your work.
Here at Coaching Inside Out one of our avenues of support is to work closely with small business owners who are struggling to keep things together beyond the break-up.
Being financially dependent on your Ex can put you, potentially, in a very disempowering position. And it does not need to be the only reason to choose financial independence beyond the break-up.

Was your business already making a contribution to the family income, but now it has to produce a whole lot more in order for you to keep body and soul together? |
 |
Does the idea of being able to choose how you work around the children appeal? |
 |
Do you like the idea of having total control over how much you earn and how you do it? |
 |
Perhaps you have an Ex who has no intention of supporting you financially anyway, and you've got to do something about it |
However, this is most definitely is not for everyone. You need to be ready to shift your level of achievement onto a whole new plane which means you will want to start thinking about making changes on the inside – and this is the area that Coaching Inside Out specialises in.
To get what you want on the outside, you have to have it right on the inside - without exception.
What if the time's right for you right now to evolve, expand, transform and invest in yourself, your life and your business - you're in the right place.
The philosophy at Coaching Inside Out is, "If you want it, you can have it" – however, the key to the success of your business is in your own personal evolution
